HELP

updates not updating

Updates you have asked for are not appearing on your website after we have advised that they have been done.

The most common problem here is Web caching.

Web caching is the caching of web documents (e.g., HTML pages, images) in order to reduce bandwidth usage, server load, and perceived latency. A web cache stores copies of documents passing through it; subsequent requests may be satisfied from the cache if certain conditions are met.

You can usually override the caching to see the new images by refreshing the page by holding your [Crtr] key down while pressing the [F5] key on your keyboard.  If this does not work, try viewing the listing from another computer that has not previously viewed the listing or by using a browser other than AOL.

We have no control over caching - it is controlled by your computer, your network, or your ISP.

New or changed photos not appearing

If you have updated photos in your MLS and the photos do not update on your website within 24 hours the most common problem is Web caching.

Old photos not removed

We have identified a bug between our system and FAAR that sometimes causes photos that you have removed and not replaced with new ones to be left in our system. We are working on a solution to this issue. If you have a listing that needs to have photos removed please email us the MLS number.

If your images are still not refreshing and you have verified they are changed at the MLS please contact us for further assistance.
